Zemun is another treasure of Belgrade that is often over looked.
While you are visiting Belgrade, on your things to do list should be Zemun. It is one of the most beautiful parts of Belgrade, if you love to be out and about and enjoy being out in the fresh air this is the perfect place to be.
Zemun is a city of its own located on the west side of Belgrade and along the banks of the Dunav.
The Zemunski Kej is wonderful place to take a romantic walk of an evening, sit under the trees and read a book, hire a bike and go for a bike ride, you can even roller blade it has a great pedestrian path that is as far as the eye can see.
You will also find some fantastic coffee shops where you can relax and enjoy the views as well as coffee shops, there are a quite a few good restaurants and splavs where you can have a meal.
Just a few restaurants you may want to check out are Saran, Reka and Talas the food is amazing and they all have a really great atmosphere.
In the heart of it all you will also find the town square where you can go shopping at the boutiques, so be sure to put on your walking shoes and explore Zemun.
